Troubleshooting
The bot is not responding, a command is missing, or a role is not being given.

Nearly every problem is a permission, and the first two checks below find most of them.
The four checks
Work down these in order before anything else.
- Is the feature switched on in the dashboard? Every feature is off until you turn it on, so a feature that never worked has usually never been enabled
- Is PeakBot's role above any role it is meant to hand out?
- Does PeakBot have permission in that specific channel? A channel override beats a server-wide permission
- Does the member running the command have the permission it needs? Every command lists its own in the command reference
A role is not being given
PeakBot's own role has to sit above anything it hands out. Discord will not let a bot assign a role higher than its own, and this is the single most common reason a setup that looks correct does nothing.
Drag PeakBot's role above the roles it hands out in Server Settings → Roles. This covers auto roles on join, self-assign roles, level roles and verification roles alike, and PeakBot needs Manage Roles for all four. The permissions table has the rest.
The bot is not responding
If PeakBot is offline for everyone, the status page says so and there is nothing to fix on your side.
If it is online but silent in one place, it is the channel. Check PeakBot's permissions on that channel itself, not just server-wide, and check the feature you expect to fire is on.
A command is missing
The command reference lists every command the live bot registers. If it is not on that list it does not exist, and a few things people look for as commands are not: giveaways, polls, welcome messages, verification, temporary voice channels, auto-moderation and backups are all set up on the dashboard instead.
